Insulation install mounting pins offered in various lengths that are 1/2 inch longer than batt thickness to be used. Pins are corrosion resistant and have perforated holes at the base plate allowing it to be bonded to building walls, ceilings, or substrates such as metal, cement, masonry, or other using the strong high temp range tuff bond adhesive (or peel & press adhesive backing option).

Insulation is then forced onto the pin with the end cap washer installed and the 1/2" remainder pin bent 90 degrees to secure or cut off flush. Great for retrofitting insulation in existing buildings where new or added R values are needed. Works well when applied 2-3 feet apart to walls and ceilings for supporting the insulations weight and allow the batt thickness to hold its recommended R values.

NOTE: Tuff Bond glue, (available per gallon) also on the insulation page website and recommended for attaching stick pin bases. Estimated 1 gallon per 500-800 pins depending on application. Best to do a test pin application to make sure a strong bond is working before applying all of pins.

NOTE: Stick pins with peel and stick are for temporally holds and are not for permanent support - it can be used for very light weight applications of vapor barrier. Not for use in area of very high temp ranges or heavy supporting.
